Sick Visits
We treat various illnesses and conditions, both acute and chronic. Together, our office will help you develop personalized management plans for conditions including hypertension, high cholesterol, heart disease, skin disease, liver and kidney disease, allergies and sinus problems, lung disease, headaches, arthritis, and more.

Acute illness
Acute Illness
Acute illnesses generally start suddenly and are short-lived. Common acute illnesses include colds, the flu, urinary tract infection, STDs, and acute injuries. Some will go away by themselves with rest or good home care, while others can be cured by antibiotics or other medical treatment.

When scheduling a sick visit, please have the following information at hand:
  • Your chief complaint (main reason for seeing the doctor)
  • Details about when you began getting sick and how long you have been sick
  • Your symptoms
  • Any medications that you have been taking and their effects on your symptoms
  • Information about sick contacts and any other reasons that you might be sick
This way, we can address all of your concerns efficiently and have sufficient information for diagnosis and treatment.

Chronic Illness
Chronic illnesses are diseases that develop slowly, last a long time, and require medical supervision. Common chronic illnesses include diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disease, emphysema, asthma, recurrent sinus problems, allergies, and certain skin conditions. Chronic conditions typically have multiple causes. Your habits, environmental factors, and family history may put you at a greater risk of developing a chronic condition. While some chronic illnesses will never go away, you can live with greatly reduced symptoms by making lifestyle changes and managing your condition with the help of your healthcare provider.
