Lutronic eCO2 Fractional Laser
Overview
Laser treatment delivers a high-energy beam of light that selectively targets desired treatment areas without harming the surrounding skin and tissue. A carbon dioxide (CO2) laser beam of precisely focused light vaporizes abnormal cells, resulting in the production of a new, healthier skin surface. This technology is ideal for treating acne scars, freckles, age spots and sun damage, birthmarks, fine lines and wrinkles, and dilated veins and capillaries.

Our Technology
The Lutronic eCO2 is the premier high-speed fractional CO2 ablative laser that delivers the full spectrum of resurfacing treatments.
Lutronics eCO2 laser technology
This device features the patented Controlled Chaos Technology, which delivers micro laser beams in a pseudo-random pattern, minimizing heat build-up in the treated areas between beams. The result is increased safety with faster healing times and maximal patient comfort.

From ultra-deep to superficial ablation, the Lutronic eCO2 is customizable to your needs. The device features quick-change tips with auto-recognition, meaning it can automatically change treatment settings to adjust for changes in spot size as the handpiece moves over your skin. The Lutronic eCO2's advanced technology and safety features ensure the ultimate control for the best treatment outcomes.

What to Expect
Depending on the area requiring treatment, a session can last from 15–30 minutes. The handpiece of the laser device is placed over your skin, and you may feel a sensation similar to the snap of a rubber band as the beam of light focuses on treatment areas. Gentle application of an ice pack will alleviate any post-procedure swelling, redness, or discomfort. This is considered a "lunch time procedure" with no downtime, and you may resume normal activities afterward.

Effectiveness and Results
Treatment is very effective at removing spots, scars, wrinkles, and dilated vessels. This process may require two or more sessions for optimal outcomes, depending on the extent of desired treatment. After treatment, we recommend that you wear sunscreen with UVA/UVB protection. The reason is two-fold— new collagen created from the thermal wound response will need protection to increase the longevity of your results, and minimizing sun exposure is key to preventing further signs of aging and skin damage.

Possible Side Effects
In general, side effects of laser treatments include hypo- or hyperpigmentation (skin lightening or darkening after treatment). This usually resolves within 1–3 months, but in some cases, skin discoloration may be permanent. Laser treatments may also lead to temporary pain, redness, bruising, and blistering, and reactivation of herpes simplex cord sores. Scarring is very rare.
