PRP for Stretch Marks
Stretch marks from pregnancy
Overview
The Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is injected directly to stretch marks, which are a form of scarring caused by tearing of the dermis associated with rapid stretching of the skin, such as during growth spurts or pregnancy. Over time, stretch marks can fade, but will not disappear on their own. Additionally, there is no evidence that topical creams applied to the skin during pregnancy can prevent stretch marks

Through PRP injections, the growth factors released by platelets will promote tissue healing and regeneration, which improves the appearance and texture of the affected skin. In combination with laser therapy, this treatment can even eliminate red stretch marks.
